It is a strange commentary on the American mind that thirty years after the fall of the soviets they still insist on carrying forward their suspicion and feud with Russia. If there is anyone to be suspicious of today it is America. Having seen American lies in Iraq, having now seen how Russia has laid bare O Bamas lies on ISIS in Syria and his role in ruining a nation ( and Europe ) for the sake of regime change, the world now no longer believes America to be the good cowboy it once thought it was. Not just the democrats but powerful republicans like McCain too are tripping up the chances of a rapprochement. One hopes Trump will be able to get with the Russians and bring an end to this feud.
